It’s a supplement that comes in the form of pills, meant to help people to lose weight.
Phenadrine is a fat burner created as an alternative to Phentermine, a medication used as an aid to losing weight.
In fact, the primary purpose of Phenadrine is to mimic the effects produced by the use of the Phentermine drug without the risks usually associated with such medication.
Manufactured by the company Advanced Performance Supplements (APS), Phenadrine is a product that helps people to lose fat, improve their energy level, reduce their appetite, and boost the metabolism.
Some even claim this supplement may help to enhance sexual and athletic performance.
Ingredients
When APS Nutrition created Phenadrine, they wanted this supplement to successfully replicate the effects of a fat burner and appetite suppressant drug.
For this reason, many of the ingredients chosen to make Phenadrine are energy and metabolism boosters.
However, most of these elements get extracted from a shrub called Senegalia Berlandieri, also known as Berlandier Acacia, due to its leaves containing a wide variety of alkaloids.
One of the most common effects of these biochemicals is the increase in the levels of dopamine, serotonin, and adrenaline in the human body.
The extract of Senegalia Berlandieri’s leaves stimulates metabolism and improves the process of Lipolysis, which consists of the breakdown of lipids into fatty acids.
Some of the most abundant alkaloids found in these leaves are:
- N-Methyl-phenethylamine
- Tyramine
- Phenylethylamine
N-Methyl-phenethylamine (NMPEA)
It’s a naturally occurring neuromodulator, which belongs to a subset of biochemicals that influence the transmission of nerve impulses.
NMPEA works like an agonist, which is a substance meant to produce a biological response by interacting with the receptors inside a cell.
In this particular case, NMPEA makes presynaptic cells increase the levels of Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate (cAMP), an intracellular signaling molecule that plays a significant role in the regulation of metabolism.
Tyramine
It is an amino acid that stimulates the production of dopamine in the organism and provides energy by increasing the level of adrenalin.
By inducing the release of adrenaline, it can also provoke weight loss by increasing the muscular glucose uptake when the body is lacking simple carbohydrates.
Tyramine can reduce the need for insulin levels to rise. In the case of male clients, that could prevent the amount of testosterone in their bodies from dropping.
In other cases, that would mean this substance keeps the levels of growth hormone stable.
Phenylethylamine
It is a biochemical that stimulates the body to increase the release of dopamine and serotonin. It boosts the mood and improves cognitive function.
Phenylethylamine also helps to suppress appetite and enhance the metabolism.
The Phenadrine supplement contains β-phenylethylamine a molecule derived from this alkaloid, which acts as dopamine booster and improves the Lipolysis process.
Other ingredients
Aside from the elements already mentioned, the Phenadrine formula also includes several other components.
One of them is L-Tyrosine, which is an amino acid that stimulates the organism to produce noradrenaline and dopamine. It reduces stress, enhances mental focus, suppresses appetite, and improves thyroid functions.
Another ingredient would be 1,3-Dimethylamylamine, a synthetic drug used as an athletic performance enhancer, and a fat-loss aid.
Phenadrine contains Theobromine too, which is an alkaloid found in the cocoa beans (typically used to make chocolate). This substance has antioxidants called flavonoids.
Theobromine improves insulin sensitivity and works like a muscle relaxer and artery dilator. It’s also a mild stimulant and diuretic.
However, one of the less exotic ingredients in Phenadrine would be Caffeine, a well-known and widely used stimulant that slightly boosts weight loss.
Dosage
The recommended dose is one capsule in the morning every three days. People must consult with a medical expert at what time should they take the supplement.
Some take the dosage 30 minutes before workout. But no matter the time, people should exceed the dose of 3 capsules in the 3-days span. Doing so could result in several adverse or undesirable effects.
Potential Risks of Phenadrine
While its wide variety of components makes Phenadrine a fantastic energy booster as well as a pretty effective fat burner, the use of this supplement carries some possible dangers.
1,3-Dimethylamylamine’s side-effects include high levels of anxiety and an increase in the blood pressure.
In fact, the formula of this supplement includes a dangerous substance known as Methylsynephrine, which could increase the risk of getting a stroke, raised heart rate, and even psychological issues.
People must consult with their doctor before deciding to take this supplement.
